Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to list a motorcycle?
Standard listing is KSh 300 for one bike for a full year. You can also choose a Featured listing at KSh 1,000 per month for priority placement and a homepage feature.
Do you take a commission when I sell my bike?
No. Senke Fiti charges only for listings. Once you sell, you keep 100% of the sale price. We don't handle payments between buyer and seller.
How long does a listing stay up?
Every standard advert runs for 365 days from the day it goes live. You'll get reminders before it expires, and you can renew any time.
Do I need to upload a logbook?
If you have it, yes — listings with a logbook photo sell faster. Buyers can verify the logbook directly through NTSA's e-Citizen portal. Listings without a logbook are still allowed, but they must state the logbook status clearly.
What does the "Verified seller" badge mean?
The badge means the seller has completed our verification process — providing business details, physical location, ID number, and documentation. We do not verify every motorcycle — buyers should still confirm logbook and ownership independently through NTSA.
How do I report a stolen or fraudulent listing?
Open the listing and click "Report this listing". We hide reported listings immediately while we investigate. You can report anonymously.
Can I meet the seller in person?
Yes — and we recommend it. Always view the motorcycle in person, verify the logbook and engine number, and never send money before seeing the bike. See our safety tips.
How do I pay for a listing?
We accept M-Pesa. When you post a motorcycle, you'll be prompted to pay via STK Push — the payment request goes straight to your phone.
I paid but my listing isn't showing up.
Payments can take up to 60 seconds to confirm. If your listing isn't live after that, contact us with the M-Pesa confirmation code.
How do I delete or edit my listing?
Log in and go to your account, where you can edit or remove any listing you've posted. Expired listings are automatically removed from public search after 365 days.
