1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Senke Fiti (the "platform", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the platform you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What Senke Fiti is

Senke Fiti is an online classifieds platform for buying and selling motorcycles in Kenya. We connect buyers and sellers. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, or take any part in the transaction between buyer and seller. We do not handle payments between them, and we do not guarantee any listing's accuracy, legality, or roadworthiness.

3. Accounts

You need an account to post listings. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, keeping your password safe, and all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Listing rules

By posting a listing, you confirm that:

• You own the motorcycle, or you are legally authorised to sell it.
• All information in the listing is accurate and not misleading.
• You will not list stolen motorcycles, motorcycles under financing that isn't disclosed, or motorcycles with forged documentation.
• You will not post duplicate, spam, or misleading listings.

5. Fees and payments

Listing fees are published on our Pricing page. Fees are non-refundable once a listing goes live, except where required by law. Payments are made via M-Pesa.

6. Listings expiration and removal

Standard listings run for 365 days from the day they go live. When a listing expires, it disappears from public search. We retain listing data for a limited period and then delete it, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations. We may remove any listing at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these terms or the law.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Posting false, fraudulent, or illegal content.
• Impersonating another person or business.
• Scraping, copying, or reselling platform data.
• Attempting to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.

8. Reporting and moderation

Users can report listings they believe are fraudulent, stolen, or misleading. We hide reported listings immediately while we investigate. We cooperate with law enforcement where required.

9. Limitation of liability

Senke Fiti is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or legal consequence arising from any transaction, listing, or interaction between users.

10. Disputes between users

Any dispute between a buyer and a seller is between them. We may provide records (listing data, contact information, IP logs) to police or a court where legally required, but we do not arbitrate or mediate user disputes.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Kenya.
