1. What we collect

• Account data: phone number, full name, hashed password.
• Listing data: motorcycle details, photos, documents (e.g. logbook), location, description.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps.
• Payment data: M-Pesa transaction references, amount, phone number. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN.

2. How we use it

• To operate your account and show your listings.
• To connect you with buyers or sellers.
• To process listing payments.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and stolen motorcycle listings.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with:

• Safaricom (M-Pesa): to process payments.
• Cloudflare: our hosting and infrastructure provider.
• Law enforcement: where required by law, court order, or for a criminal investigation.

4. Your listing visibility

When you post a listing, your name and the phone number you provide in the listing are publicly visible to buyers. You choose what to display. Do not publish personal information you don't want strangers to see.

5. Photos and documents

Photos and documents you upload are stored in our file storage and served publicly as part of your listing. Logbook images may be viewed by anyone viewing your listing. If you don't want your logbook publicly visible, don't upload it.

6. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Listing data is kept while the listing is active and for a limited period after expiry, after which it is deleted (subject to legal recordkeeping). Payment records are kept for accounting and legal compliance.

7. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@senkefiti.co.ke to exercise these rights.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Sessions use HttpOnly cookies. However, no online service is completely secure — use a strong password and keep your phone safe.

9. Children

Senke Fiti is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
